Mumbles is a anthology magazine of illustrated stories produced by artist John Eberly during the 1980s in Wichita, Kansas. Issue #2 features stories and illustrations by John Eberly, Ellen Ferguson, Lynn Kasuba, Chasmon Did, B.J. Hawkings, James Dean Pruner, Dan Allison, Steve Phillips and Bob Fair. Eberly is well known in the underground mail-art scene of the 1980s and 1990s and was incredibly prolific. He’s also known as a musician with numerous cassette and CD releases, also a founding member of the band “The Mumbles” and The Eberly Brothers both of which are featured in the Demolition Kitchen Video collection here on the Internet Archive.
